Some of you may read America Magazine. I found this interesting article about how they published an ad that featured a statue of the virgin Mary covered in a condom. The person who put the ad there claimed that he did it in protest of the church's stance on contraception.
I have two questions that come to mind. #1: Should we really believe that America didn't know that this was a part of their magazine?
And, #2: how is an ad like this going to have any effect but to prove that the people who are pro-contraception are really just anti-catholic?

So true, I find it very hard to believe that the ad just "slipped through" without notice.
About a year ago, I read an article in America in which a homosexual teacher employed by a Catholic school was finding it a lie not to tell her students that she was a lesbians and that her lifestyle should be accepted. I wanted to through the magazine out the windos and howler scream that she chooses to be employed by a Catholic school. What is she doing there and why is she laying the blame on the church. ...
This kind of stuff just doesn't slip through the cracks at America but is part of its liberal essence.
I think it does more harm to the faithful than it does good.
